Montréal, QC (Canada) - Royal Victoria hospital, in collaboration with McGill University, uses ObjectDRIVER to manage Obstetric and Neonatal data.

ObjectDRIVER is being used in a medical application to manage the Obstetric and Neonatal data (clinical and research) at Royal Victoria hospital - Montreal (QC - Canada). This multi-tiered Java application developed in collaboration with famous McGill University - Montreal (QC - Canada) will be deployed with Oracle as the RDBMS, ObjectDRIVER in the middle-tier server and a distributed communication protocol such as RMI for communication with clients.

"Using ObjectDRIVER has allowed development to concentrate on the business logic and user interface rather than developing a custom object-relational interface" said Phil Warrick, Consultant and Project Manager. "An important consideration in the selection of ObjectDRIVER that set it apart from other object-relational mapping tools was that the product has always adhered to the ODMG standard. This has afforded a rich persistence model and flexibility in the OR mapping".
